Featuring......Easton!

Today we celebrate Easton.  As of July 9, Easton is 18 months old, the oldest of the King boys.  Easton is a happy, smart, energetic boy who loves to stay busy and explore new things.  He absolutely loves to be outside.  Easton goes to daycare at Bre's house 3-4 days a week right now and will go 3 days a week once mom returns to work on August 1.  He really enjoys playing with his friends at Bre's.  But he also really likes to be around his little brothers too.

Easton needs to stay busy or the world will end.  So, he builds forts with dad.

He spends LOTS of time outside if he can.

He plays with all of his toys at home.  Often our living room is a sea of toys.  Tyler and I joke that we have holes in our feet from all of the little toys we've stepped on.  On Friday Tyler tried to clean the living room and pick up all of the toys that Easton had gotten out that morning.  However, Easton thought it would be better if all of the toys stayed out.  So, Tyler would put something away and move on to the next task and Easton would come right behind him and spill all of the toys that Tyler had just put away.  After a 1/2 hour of this Tyler finally realized that it was a lost cause.  Needless to say, the living room stayed messy!
Lookin' darn cute

Easton LOVES to read.  His favorite books are his Truck book and Tractor book.  He has a book shelf in his room that is almost full.  However, the books are almost never on the shelf because he always has them out reading them.

Easton likes to hang out with his cousins when he can.  He has a total of 6 cousins, all boys!  He just had fun at Braden, Matthew and Zack's birthday party where he got to try to break open the Pinata!

If he's bored with his toys or can't go outside, Easton can often be found trying on dad's clothes and shoes.  He loves his daddy so much he wants to be just like him.  Although, he has a ways before he grows into the shirts and shoes!

Those are some big shoes to fill!
Easton is such a great kid.  We are eager to watch him grow, explore and see the world through his eyes.  We are certain he will do great things in life.
